West Roseville Flooring Repair

Flooring Repair

Our clients had some flooring installed where the previous contractor had cut some corners in preparing the substrate before installation. He had tried to create a slope between two different elevations that were about a half inch different in height. At the incorrectly installed slope, the floor ended up failing with cracks and complete breakage. Our solution to correct the issue was to remove the floor back to the higher elevation, then to install underlayment which would create one uniform elevation across the whole flooring substrate. After labeling and removing the flooring (in an effort to reuse as much as possible), we installed new underlayment, floated some joints that needed special attention, then reinstalled the flooring and baseboards. Our clients were relieved and overjoyed that the the issue had been resolved.
